I felt a shiver of anticipation, gratitude and glory run down my spine last night as I strolled the boardwalk, along the shores of Lake Okanagan, admiring the fuchsia hues of the setting sun, watching the wildlife preparing for nightfall. A beaver chewed methodically on his willow twig, the carp gathered eagerly in the shallow water beneath my shadow, a heron watched earnestly for her midnight snack.
A picturesque spring night, in a picturesque setting, in a picturescque city ... lately I have found myself humming jingles, choruses, and musical nursery rhymes. All signs of happiness and joy derived from living in a beautiful setting, amongst fascinating persons, alive with creativity, stimulation life and prosperity.
We are truly blessed, to be living in this era of opportunity!

Sharon-I've been on the shores of Lake Okanagan and know the feeling! Best.
Nice! Spring is here in Jackson Hole as well, and on my drive in to the office on Friday I saw three pelicans on the Snake River, a bald eagle in a dead cottonwood tree, and a pair of ospreys rebuilding their nest. Love the West!
Beavers and Herons, Oh my!! You do live in a wonderful part of the country Sharon, my mum lives in Vernon, so I visit there every once in a while.
Another beautiful day in Paradise! Malcolm, you should visit your Mother more often - and phone her every day .....
